Privacy policy.

This policy describes how matteomisiani.studio collects and processes personal data of users interacting with the site. Processing is carried out in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.

Data controller

The controller is Matteo Misiani, based in Rome, Italy. For any request write to matteo@matteomisiani.studio.

Data collected

We only collect data that is strictly necessary:

  • Data voluntarily provided via the contact form (name, email, optional company, message).
  • Minimal technical data collected by the hosting provider (Vercel): IP address, user agent, timestamp. Used only for security and diagnostics.

Purpose and legal basis

Contact form data is processed to respond to your request (pre-contractual measures, art. 6.1.b GDPR). Technical hosting data is processed under legitimate interest for site security (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Third-party services

The site uses the following providers, each with its own policy:

  • Vercel (hosting, USA — Data Processing Agreement + Standard Contractual Clauses).
  • Resend (transactional email for the contact form, USA — SCC).
  • Calendly (call booking, optional, USA — SCC).

We do not use analytics tools or profiling cookies.

Retention

Emails received via the contact form are kept as long as needed to complete the conversation and for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact. Hosting technical logs are kept for 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and request portability (arts. 15–22 GDPR). To exercise these rights write to matteo@matteomisiani.studio. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The date at the top indicates the last revision. For substantial changes we will contact you via email if you have already reached out.
